Welcome to The Travellers Friend! My blog that shares my LOVE of travelling, provides tips and tricks that have worked for me and provides honest travel run downs. I have been extremely fortunate to grow up in a household that valued the memories and experience gained from travel which I have consciously continued into my adult life. Now, I am documenting my adventures for my future reference so that I do not forget the amazing things I have been apart of and the opportunities I have had. 

Travel is something that brings me such joy and purpose. The ability to get out of my comfort zone and explore new areas, people, culture is something that I cannot see myself ever getting tired of; in fact, quite the opposite! To be documenting that, to hopefully take the fear element of travel that can be a barrier for other budding travellers, showing that budget holidays can be just as fun and exciting as the splurges and once in a lifetimes, the staycations and the destinations, is so exciting.
